Stephen Harper was a bad PM, but the pendulum has swung too far in the other direction and the lunatics are already running the asylum.

Yup Canadians like public healthcare too bad the Conservative Party doesn't and their track record of giving lip service to it while trying to undermine it is well documented. Want to know something else most Americans want government healthcare even if GOP doesn't. So this statement is no refutation of anything

Indeed chopping your hand off is a change but not one most would want.

So much hate on Harper.

He deserved to lose when he did, but for most of his tenure he was just a smart conservative policy wonk who had no personality. At the end, the Conservatives were doing a right-turn in line with American politics - one they have doubled down on now that a mostly-inoffensive Erin O'Toole didn't deliver a win.

Pierre P. is a dangerous populist. I wouldn't vote for him, ever. At least I gave Erin a second look.
