Started my holiday today.
Been drinking more than a little today.
This week a friend and I are going to start a tour of NZ.
The country might survive.
Healthwise, I'm still improving slowly. Still in remission.

Edit: ok, it's probably fake
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Hopefully, those ashes didn't end up like this:

If you love the sound of Celestion Alnico Blues in an AC-30, but don't like paying far out the ass for a single speaker, you can get the G12H-75 Creamback for much less, and its frequency response seems to be extremely close:
[The bolder line is the Alnico Blue, the fainter one the G12H-75.]
