Boru I don't remember being nearly as frustrated when making my PacMan in JavaScript or my website. Sure, I ran into a problem that "clientWidth" and "clientHeight" didn't work on SVG elements in Firefox, but I immediately thought of a simple work-around.
Have you given any thought to switching to a course of study in a subject in which you don't suck?

Well, sometimes I am indeed thinking about switching my field of study from computer science to something else. But the problem with that is... to what, actually? It seems to me that, at anything else, I'd suck even more.

(Bold mine)
Not sure that’s possible.

Why would that be impossible? You think you know about me better than I myself know? I mean, what makes you think I am bad at programming and that I would do something else better?

You are in your fifth year of a three-year program.

I think you’re bad at programming because 1) you said so yourself 2) you’ve taken five years (so far) to finish a three year course of study and 3) you’re always coming in here begging for help.
I take back what I said - I actually DO think you might be worse at something else than you are at programming.

I don't think those tests at the university accurately measure one's ability to program. I think most of my classmates could not even make a SVG PacMan, which I made back in high-school, yet alone a PicoBlaze Simulator runnable in a browser, much less a compiler targeting WebAssembly.

It’s a poor workman who blames his tools.

I think most programmers complain about their tools, the languages they are using and so on. But, unlike most programmers, I actually try to make better tools.
