"Laughing At Religion" Meme Thread

Jesus mummy means no resurrection.

I'm sure they would think up some nonsensical excuse. You must understand that Christianity is already true because it "feels so good", so the evidence doesn't matter. As Ken Ham says "The evidence doesn't matter but how you interpret the evidence matters." So, to secularists, a mummy Jesus means no resurrection, but to a Christian, it means that he needs to interpret it so that Jesus did resurrect.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Aron Ra is so intimidating looking and he is a big, tall man!  But he is one of the nicest, most gracious people I have ever met.  He used to live in the town where I now live and he currently is a couple 'burbs west.  I have met and spoken with him at a few events here in Dallas when he was a guest speaker, or otherwise involved, when Seth Andrews was here on book tours and such.
