Picked up Baldur's Gate 3, seems pretty cool. I've been avoiding spoilers as much as possible so I really don't know what to expect.

What are you all playing right now?

Sunset Overdrive.
Got the game years ago and never played. Why I waited I'll never know. Must play. And as always: CK3. Just finished a play though where I managed to rule half of Spain with my Lunatic, Albino, over sexed offspring for 5 generations. Just constant bastard wars. Was great fun.

My latest obsession is Coral Island, a shameless 3D near-clone of Stardew Valley. Well 90% similar, with a few innovations and QoL changes/improvements. It even (most probably) makes reference to the creator of Stardew Valley, known as Concerned Ape, with an NPC in the game called Concerned Monkey. I wonder how he feels about this game, but it's a game enough in it's own right, and very polished, that I think it's respectfully done... imitation is the best form of flattery and all that. Anyway it's an awesome game, and certainly an interesting experience in 3D compared to the 2D pixel art of SV, with just as much scope (and grind... which I love), if not more, than Stardew Valley, and has me daydreaming about playing just as much as Stardew did, unable to switch off while planning my next designs and moves in the game. Fully expect to sink 1000+ hours into this game like I did for Stardew.

Started River City Girls. It's a good, button mashing beat 'em up.

If that is, or you're into side-scrolling beat 'em ups, I'd highly recommend Streets Of Rage 4. Unfortunately my button mashing days are long gone, so I can't really play these sorts of games any more, but I got it as soon as it came out as I was a big fan of the other three on Sega Megadrive (Genesis for Americans), and it didn't disappoint for the short while I did try it out (mainly for nostalgia's sake). The art style is gorgeous and original... kindof a mixture, maybe 2.5D so to speak, between Manga/anime style and the old style... looks awesome.

BG3. Stepped through a door and insta killed one of my party. Debating not rezzing him, his Rogue skill set is redundant and he's a knob. Decisions decisions.
