How's the weather treating you today?

It's bone-chillingly cold this week. I've got something that needs to go back to Amazon. I'll make a quick run towards the end of the week.

Freezing rain to move in by tomorrow night then a temp of 12 for a low Wednesday night. F@CK!
Fixed the furnace. Sweet, sweet heat!
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
We got 6 freedom units of snow, followed by 0.5 freedom units of rain followed by high winds and bitter cold. We now live in an ice cube. Temps above freezing aren't in our forecast this week. So we slip and slide.
Between yesterday and today 6 inches of snow, removed snow from mine and 3 neighbors yesterday. The snow plow blocked in the drive overnight, just finished opening that up. I don't enjoy frozen snow chunks. Won't get above freezing until the weekend.

It was 68F on the porch at 4 pm this afternoon. It's now 36F according to the car. This is almost Blue Norther sort of dropping. Overnight low projected at 28F, down to 20F or so by tomorrow evening. Winter slop predicted for Friday, hoping that doesn't visit us.
Typical winter for us, mostly mild with the occasional shock.
Welcome mild weather. The heater went out and a friend found a bad capacitor. But the problem returned, and we got a local company to come out. The friend admitted he wasn't experienced with electronic troubleshooting. It turned out to be a circuit board that controls the ignitor, which I did notice was slow to get hot. It gets hot in seconds, now instead of minutes. 10/10 would recommend that company, which was recommended to me. The system is over 22 years old (we've lived here longer than that), so I'm just hoping that it keeps on keeping on.

It was 40+ years old so really can't gripe too much. Our electric bill certainly came down after the new one was installed. It had been held together with spit, wire, and crossed fingers for a long, long time.
The dogs decided they wanted to go outside at 3 am. Then they wanted right back in. May have had something to do with the -17 degree wind chill. sigh. Now I am awake and they are all snuggled up and going back to sleep.
