Multi-grain bagels and cream cheese. I bought a 6" ceramic bread knife for cutting my bagels. It's a vast improvement over the awkwardness of my 10" Mercer bread knife.

Oatmeal with raisins and brown sugar. I used my new rice cooker. It cooks in half the time of my older rice cooker.

Anybody here make paellas? I've been reading a little about them and would like to try a skillet paella before worrying about buying a pan.

I do the Valenciana version (minus the snails). Make sure to use short-grained rice.

Thanks for the tip. I generally only keep long-grain rice on hand.

Atlantic salmon and roasted vegetable and chicken flavored long grain & wild rice mix.

I tried a reverse sear tonight. I've got a lot of learning ahead of me. The rice was good, though. A $2 mix from Aldi. I'll go back and buy more tomorrow.
