However, when you put all of those components together, it is fucking weird. They could have easily been murdered. Again, the note indicates that they did not know the pills would kill them, assuming that is what killed them - which I agree is the most likely scenario. They clearly thought they needed what they had with them for whatever they thought was going to happen. The mystery is what they were doing out there and why they apparently took pills that killed them without knowing they would kill them.

I'm not trying to convince you of a damn thing. Wink It's very strange to me. That is all I am saying.
Next episode the Lead Masks Case starring Shell B.

People do lots of silly shit.

Sometimes they die doing it.

Yeah, and if they die doing that shit, explaining it is easy. Their own stupid fault or not, there is still no explanation.

Well, of course then you have the conspiracy nuts who will say that there are "aliens" on the Brazilian police force and they are the ones who botched the forensics in order to cover up the aliens being there in the first place.

I'll stick with shitty investigation theory for now.

I don't need "aliens" for that.

Some of the tin foil brigade have already claimed Brazil among other places is inundated with reptilians.

Haha, you're arguing this as if you think I think something supernatural went down. Sure, there are dumbasses who would yell aliens. That doesn't mean it is not mysterious. The police definitely fucked up. I think I even mentioned that in my piece. That makes it even more of a mystery. Do we say that the Jack the Ripper killings are not a mystery because the police did not catch him? No. Quite the opposite. The circumstances surrounding these men's deaths are bizarre. That's the bottom line. Shoddy police work didn't get them dead up on a hill with a couple of lead masks and a note about as cryptic as the Voynich Manuscript. How the case didn't get solved is not the mystery here.
