Yet there you are, someone, who believes the Christian Bible is true therefore you are ... wait for it ... wait for it ... it's coming to me ... oh yeah ... a Christian!!!!!

im sorry you feel that way. I only want to give answers to the ones that may want to ask something. I force no one to ask or be the slightest bit interested. but if there should be..im here.
And that is what every "motivated" Christian does here ... they come here, they want to tell us (the great unwashed) the "truth" about their stupid bloody god, the god most of us here rejected probably before you were born. Why the fuck would we want to ask you questions apart from some variation on, "Why do you believe the pathetic crap you do when it's fairly obvious you, your beliefs and your cartoon caricature god are NOTHING special whatsoever"? You believe a childish book of myth is true ... most of us consider it a useful historic source wrapped around a fairy tale yet po' l'il arrogant you decide we might want to ask your questions about it? Like it's something special? Grow up!
Oh and try and learn some English spelling/grammar while you're at it ... it always help an argument if you communicate in standard English (even if it is the Americanised version).

thanks but im not here to study english. im here to try to help anyone who is willing to learn the truth about God. I also do not label myself a christian. I have no label. And the christians will be more than happy to tell you I am not a christian. lol jsut ask them that know me. they will happily disagree with you. I also do not teach anything like the christians do. Me and the christians disagree on ...well ...most everything. and I will not be back in an hour as I said earlier because I decided to get groceries while I'm out as well. regardless of what you all think of me, I would like to say be safe and chat friendly.

And what makes you think that you can succeed where so many other theists here have failed. I don't think that you are the only one who believes that they have a unique perspective on the bible and the belief that they understand where so many of their fellow believers don't.
What you must understand is that we are atheists. We simply do not believe that there is a god. We also do not believe that there is any truth in the bible.
Let's put it this way. You are no more likely to convert any of us to what you would call biblical truth than someone else could convince us that the ancient Greeks or romans were correct or that we should all follow the teachings of the Australian Aborigines.
You see, to us, they are all equally mythological superstitions with absolutely no basis in fact or reality.
It's not that we are bad or immoral or lacking some important element in our lives. In fact, most of us are lovely, caring, moral and intelligent (Even Kyu )
It is simply that we are clear thinking and open minded enough to realise that the Bible is simply a work of fiction created over many centuries by various scribes and authors who probably never met each other in an attempt to explain things, for which at the time, there were no answers for.
It is simply a fascinating work of ancient fiction and no matter how you read it or how you interpret it you are no closer to discovering the true meaning of things than if you asked a class of pre school children. In fact the latter may realise far more interesting answers.

You're a Christian whether you (or they) like it or not in the exact same way as I'm a humanist and an atheist whether I like (or anyone else likes) it or not ... just saying you don't want to be called that makes no difference whatsoever.
Be safe and chat friendly? Nice but get one thing straight ... YOU have decided to come and join an ATHEIST forum, you weren't invited and that means YOU are the interloper, YOU should adhere to OUR standards and consider OUR expectations and that means that when one of us tells you you're no fucking different from any other idiot who thinks they can convert us or learn some dumbass "truth" [SNEER] as they see it especially when supported by at least one other (at least in spirit) and, as it happens, those two happen to be prominent members of said forum (one a moderator, the other an administrator) you should really be ASKING YOURSELF whether YOU have overstepped the mark!
Quite frankly you deserve ever bit of derision you get (and you'll get more).

I dont know that I can succeed where others have failed. I also want you to know that I will not try to prove anything to anyone who is unwilling to hear me out. I agree with you that you are all good people and I understand some will remain on the defensive side. That is ok. Im not gonna force anything on anyone. I want all to understand that.

It's good that you won't try to force thing on those who don't want it.
I'm totally fine with you trying to prove stuff to me though anyway. I welcome theists trying to convert me.

I do understand and I believe that in your own way you're being quite sincere but no-one is going to take you seriously if you come here with the intension of trying to teach us anything.
It would be like me trying to convince you that Hinduism was the correct path. It wouldn't work would it?

So, given that we are atheists and pretty much convinced we're right on this subject, that means you're not going to initiate any discussion on your god existing (even with a pre-existing thread) yes?
I'm going to remember that ... I'd put money on that being untrue before you leave these waters!

thank evidencevsfaith. For anyone who is willing to hear me out and decide they are done hearing me, I will stop. no questions asked. And I thank all who are willing to give it a shot. If one should want to be away from interference, well we can discuss privately. which ever way is preferred.
