Yes, we are short of physicists at the moment. We're in dire need of them to talk loudly about quantum mechanics in front of us and debunk the silly claims that theists make concerning QM.

I suspect that Physics is beyond most believers (much of modern Physics is beyond me as well), and is not the best tool to 'debunk' their views. I think that simple logic, careful thought, research, common sense, and reason is the best approach.
