I thought so but I didn't want to assume.
I've met people who made this argument with absolute sincerity.
Either way I'm highly amused.

I log on to this alternate account when Christians or other theists are so face-palmingly stupid that my brain breaks at the thought of even trying to have a rational debate with them. Instead, I log on to this alternate persona where I take this fucktardary to it's logical conclusion (so to speak) and "agree" with them.

My compliments to those who attempt to explain grade-school level knowledge to these people. You're far more patient than I am.

Now while I am a Poe, I keep my posts grounded in what the Holey Babble actually says and what kind of crazy shit you're likely to believe if you actually do follow it all to its logical conclusion. So the fact that you do see Christians seriously presenting the same views that I do, only shows you that they're...

[/out of character]

...True Christians ™, the kind that I'm always proud to associate with.

I mean, you saw that "documentary" Ben Stein made? This conspiracy is huge, as it would have to be. It's been maintained for over 100 years and has never been challenged in any country. All of it to promote Nazism or something, that last third of the movie would do Godwin proud.

I just don't understand why more True Christians are so unwilling to come out and say it: Satan's behind evolution! What other force could keep that international, century-long conspiracy going? What? Don't they believe in Satan? Don't they already believe in demons? Why is it such an uncomfortable leap for them? Are you scared of these hellbound heathens, that they might laugh at you?

Take it to the next level, Dirch! Say it proudly! Satan is behind evolution!

Wussbag, sissy, phony Christian!

Posting under my usual account rather than this one. I guess I haven't felt inspired lately.

Dirch has renewed my interest in posting with this persona. I guess it's a talent he has.

Firstly there would be no thought of years/months then so they wouldn't know how long they lived and there certainly wouldn't be a record of it; plus a human would never live to be 800 yrs or so. Secondly Adam and Eve had two sons. Cain killed Abel and then travelled and got married. Who did he marry?????
Research "ancient megafauna":
http://dinosaurs.about.com/od/otherprehi...ammals.htm
In prehistoric times--or "pre-Flood' as creationists say--organisms were generally larger. This was a result of a denser, milder atmosphere. Evolutionist scientists can't really explain how the earth arrived at this high-pressure atmosphere, but creationists theorize a water vapor canopy (referenced in Genesis 1:7). Higher pressure allows for thicker body structures and longer life. Judging by the ages in giant tortoises today, large dinosaurs may have lived hundreds of years. The same goes for humans.
Cain married his sister, just as Abraham married his half-sister. At that point complications associated with incest had not yet accumulated. There were also less diseases, allowing for longer lives.
Organisms were larger because there was more oxygen in the air. The reason for this is actually because trees evolved faster than the fungus that broke them down. Trees spread with ferocity and without the fungi to break them down, the atmosphere was flooded with oxygen. This is also why there was a global firestorm with that meteor collided with the Earth. There's a lovely 3-part BBC series on this subject, but I can't recall the name.

"That's not me, that evolution." -Firstly, no it isn't. Secondly, you seem to have misunderstood how this works. You made this claim as a part of your "explanation", it is your baby now. You don't get to pass the buck.

Did you and ralphie go to the same school? It seems like you do not understand what is going on either. My 'Explanation' ends with the fact that the bible has no established time line between creation and the fall. I also point out that the account offered in Genesis only lends itself to what happened in the Garden, which leaves the door wide open for you guys to put whatever you have been telling yourselves 'really happened' in the unaccounted for time line of the Creation account. Nothing more.

One Can do this, or One can ignore it. I am simply point out a plausable combination of the two accounts. I have not ever claimed this to be a 'theory' to all the glory and magesty or of the same pedigree you all seem to bow down to.

The fact is you people seem to need me to present a 'theory' in order to have something you know how to argue, and you have twisted and mislabled my efforts here to try and dismiss it. But the undenyable fact is that my efforts were to point to the artifical time line placed between creation and the fall. Nothing more. If you want to argue something, argue the time line. for that is the only thing of substance here. The rest is paraphrased interpertation of your 'bless-ed' theory.

Otherwise I will leave you and your friends/fellow Alumni to your straw men.Wink

Genesis leaves open the posibility that Adam & Eve were not the first... So then, the "timeline" is really irrelevant.
