I'm unsure as to where I sit on such issues, I feel inclined to agree with the left in matters such as healthcare, education, industry and so on but the right has a few good ideas, namely personal responsibility (both financial and ethical.) so I am at somewhat of an impasse

More evidence of what happens when republicans don't goose-step to the party line.

Umm...I think you're confusing one type of "job" with another. Go ahead and google "rimjob" to see what I mean.

Really, I don't care if Clinton was using the Oval Office to fuck interns, it's still better than Bush using the Oval Office to fuck the whole damn country. I just hope Hillary runs in 2016.

Compared to every other western nation, the political center of gravity in the United States is much further to the right.

In other countries you just don't get people advocating such views (to give a recent example Todd Akin) having popular support more than say 5%. However in the USA people like Todd Akin can rely on at least a third of the electorate if not more.

I know. It kinda makes me wonder what the far left politicians are like in other countries.

Well they are real socialists (often Marxist in orientation), who believe in the government (in their eyes collective) ownership of the means of production and distribution. I have encountered these people in my life, while I have no encountered Christian Conservatives.

Interesting; especially in that, if you read the New Testament, Jesus and his apostles and everyone who spread his word, they all lived while depending on the rest of society to feed/cloth/shelter them. If anything, fundamentalist Christians should be the socialists; instead, they fear that word like the plague.

Fundamental Christians should be voluntary Socialists there is no impetus to force it on everyone who isn't one of them
