every single bit of medication on the market today was produced and tested in science labs by biologists.
People who study medicin might do the job in hospitals, but medical science labs are filled with genetesists.
The concept of evolution itself is a concept which can be used outside the borders of biology - the concept of subjects evolveing to fit into it`s surrounding is a concept used by economists and sociologists alike.

Bionics is probably the most spectacular example, animals which have evolved towards perfectly fitting into their surroundings are the perfect example on how to study the engeniering of machines which themselves should fit into such surroundings.

The OP asked a loaded question which included the assertions that Christians are backward toward science and that this is somewhat of a factor in American economic/power decline. Extent was the only part that was a question.

You know, John, you seem a rung or two higher on the ladder than the normal run-of-the-mill fundie we get around here. Maybe you have an idea about a question that I can never get an answer to from the others.

Why the obsession about creationism? The reports of what jesus said, which is all we have, indicate that he spent no time at all worrying about the creation of the world but he spent lots of time driving "demons" out of sick people. Why isn't the insistence on adding "Demon Driving Out" to medical school courses rather than worrying about stuff that jesus didn't care about?

America could fix its economy in one simple way, start governing it's own country and stop trying to dictate to other countries. I guarantee other countries would like you more too!!

Although swearing and/or insulting people a lot isn't being NICE, I think when they say "act like real cunts", they mean religious people who use religion to justify racism, child brides, war, murder, and bigotry of all stripes.

Though I myself dislike the most swearing, and swear very little, cussing/insulting on a forum hardly counts as acting like a "real cunt" when compared to the everyday atrocities of gay bashing until they suicide, or forcing raped women to bear the child, or forcing 9 year olds to marry old men, etc, etc, etc.
