Why elitist? Because these scientists have studied evidence, are published, and have advanced college degrees? Nothing has all the answers, religion or science... but science has a peer-review process and replicable evidence, and is constantly advancing. Sorry scientists don't like arguments that don't have any supporting evidence.

Alumacin, there is a literal shit ton of evidence for evolution. To begin with evolution has been observed. Antibiotic resistant bacteria and pesticide resistant insects are examples of observed evolution. Humans purposefully evolve other organisms through the use of both artificial selection and genetic manipulation. You only need to look to agriculture to see examples of both.

The fossil record is just one line of evidence. We don’t even need it to show that evolution is fact. But we do have a large and ever growing fossil record. While it is admittedly incomplete it is still a very good record of evolution. The distribution of fossils over both space and time supports evolution. It contains many examples of transitional forms. Nothing ever discovered in the fossil record is inconsistent with evolution.

In addition to the fossil record we have homologies such as skeletal structure, cellular and molecular similarities. That last one being the real smoking gun for evolution. Genetics is the best evidence for evolution. Once again everything we have learned about genetics both before and after learning how to sequence DNA in consistent with evolution. From your perspective the most damning part of that has to be retroviral insertions. Nearly 10% of your DNA was put there at some point in history by viruses. These viral insertions can be compared between different species and the similarities and differences can be identified. See the chart below for an example of just one family of viral insertions expressed in primates.

So there it is. Viral insertions in our genetic code are proof positive that Hitch, Summer, Pappy, Alumacin and even GC share a common ancestor with the monkeys at the local zoo.

Pap, I'm not even going to waste my time with someone who combines evolution denial with conspiracy-theorist style speech. He obviously has multiple grudges and sounds ridiculous enough on his own without me wasting my work and socializing time on his bullshit.
