Is the only thing that commes to mind when hearing the phrase "pressure atheism onto people".
In 1967 under the rule of the brutal dictator Enver Hoxha - religion and the practice of religion was officialy banned. Resulting in brutal oppression and human rights violations.
FALSE.
BANNING RELIGION IS NOT CORRELATED TO BRUTAL OPPRESSION AND HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS.
BANNING RELIGION LEADS TO UTOPIA.

The atheism movement really needs help.
The article's author is not really proposing execution of the listed tactics. I thought it was pretty obvious that she was having a go at religion by creating atheist versions of the ways religion constantly inserts itself in other people's lives.
Thanks for explaining the joke. I bet you get invited to a lot of parties.

I am, but I'm usually not allowed to show up until about an hour before the host wants to clear the crowd.

Yes, because using force to make people to give up a belief is not the only morally right to do, but doesn't backfire in the least.
You know what? You're right. I really hate people who use their cell phones at the cinema. Let's behead them all or throw them in prison, so I will finally enjoy the movies in peace.

^ Actually not a bad idea.
A part of me wants to go all out and let the theists in my life have it. Some of the shit they say is so ridiculous sometimes. The other more reserved part of me says to chill out and try to be an example. You know, try to take a gentler approach at getting them to think beyond the bs. Usually I end up taking the latter approach (I still like some of these people afterall). Anyone else deal with that?

Predictable theistic reply there. Well done.
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.

Predictable but very useful. I mean whenever I try something new that i do not know too much about, I usually read about it first.
