Tourettes is nothing like that whatsoever. He is just being a dick. A quick perusal of all his recent posts show a trend. He is here flaming. I thought it odd when he raised an argument that made no sense in a thread I started recently. He made quickfire accusations about the OP that were seriously weird and out of place with the argument. I had never seen him or her behave like that before, so I assumed it was just a hot button topic. Now I see that someone just doesn't want to play nice . . . likely on purpose.

it was a reference to the comedian Lewis Black, of whom I once saw a clip from the Daily show, where he concluded that Glenn Beck had nazi Tourettes (a word of which i didn`t realise it was writen the same way in english as in german).

I am aware of what tourettes is and didn`t intend to make fun of people who suffer from it. I just cant find the vid on youtube


It is common for people who cannot back up the claims and arguments to which they they make their life and way they perceive the world depend on - to when their arguments are questioned or refuted - to regress into behaving like a angry little fat kid who is put on a sugar detox.

1) Germans, that bit of Lewis Black is comedy gold and deserves to be placed in the highest pantheon collection of social commentary by a comedian ever.

2) Cratehorus: correction - my father is the racist bigot. I was raised for most of my life by my liberal Jewish mother. Thinking that you need to learn the meanings of the words you're using has nothing to do with being racist. It just makes me a stickler for the language we're both trying to agree on. It's actually a fact that there are only two types of people I have a knee-jerk irrational reaction against: truckers (not a race), and people like you. Although I'm pretty sure we can rationalize my reaction against you.
