Nooo, we made Belgian chocolate !!! (from cocoa that doesn't grow in Belgium lol)

Yes, we speak French in the south, Dutch in the North, and less than 1% of the population speak German...

A very confusing political system, you are right, a lot of Belgian even don't understand it...

We also have a king and his family, that we pay generously with our taxes...

Je suis alemange, mon papa est anglaise.
Je parle pas le petit francais, parce que j'étais dans france trois fois.

I think this vid says all one has to know about your very confusing political system:

But really, I dont know much about your country. I did have some Belgian chocolate, which was a present from someone, but I always thought that it was swiss or that you manufactured it in a swiss way.
In the end it doesn`t really matter if it`s Belgian, Dutch, German or swiss chocolate since all manufacture their chocolate with beans from Ivory Coast - as you pointed out.

The Brits kind of seem to be obcessed with making jokes about you on the other hand.
But they seem to dispise everyone, including themselves.

Sometimes, I don't feel so bad that Portugal has a lot of immigrants from ex-colonies... which were all properly indoctrinated in christianity in due time.... so no muslim invasion, here! It's just same-old.

Hi Pocaracas,

I don't have any issue with immigration, my grand father was Polish, my grand mother was half French, half Dutch... but we can't let immigrants come when you have so much people that are unemployed... Legal immigrants, if they don't work, they receive money from the government, 474€ if they live with someone and share bills, 711 € for someone that lives alone, and 948 € for someone with kid(s)... And 50% of immigrants don't have a job!

I agree to receive people that are in danger in their country but you can't welcome everybody

I'm hoping to travel to Belgium this summer to the Tomorrowland festival in Boom. I don't particularly like the music played there, but my friend is going and since I want to go abroad I just might join her. Smile

I don't like this music neither but I think that should be a great party, if the weather allows it

Boom is 50 minutes by car from where I live. I used to go there in a night club when I was a teenager.

It's similar to asking if you make really good waffles.

Yes I can do waffles but I don't have the machine to cook them, my mother have it

There are waffles from Liège : http://www.cherchons.be/img/belgique/cul...-liege.jpg

Somehow I gathered that from your nickname Big Grin
But yeah, I watched the compilation from last year and people seemed to have a great time, so that's why I'm interested in going.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I like the last video, this is really funny... I didn't know that English like laugh about us... Usually, this is French that like that. But I'm ok with that because we have a lot of jokes also about them, as you surely have about Canadians, am I right?
For example :

*Do you know why there is only one Paris in the whole world? Because there is not enough ass hole elsewhere to have another one (in French, that's funny, I swear)

*How many French do you need to unscrew a light bulb? only 1, because he thinks that the world is turning around him.

* Why belgian jokes are so short? for French people to remind it
