So what's the justification for keeping them legal? The Constitution was written when a gun required at least 30 seconds to reload. It was never intended to protect citizen's rights to modern, military weapons.
Police only serve as clean-up.

Being a former staff member, you have to know that there is a "No personal attacks" rule in place, correct?
You're just a childish individual who can't accept the fact that my opinion differs from that of yours.

And I see nothing more to discuss. Believe me, if I ran the world, there would be no guns. I'm being generous when I advocate for stricter controls, background checks, assault rifles ban, etc. I know I have a major bias on this issue, but I'm at least attempting some agreement.

I respect you, but not your opinion. Our own personal experiences have swayed us to have strikingly contrasted views.I do believe that requiring background checks and an adequate locked storage for arms is completely necessary for the ownership of guns.
However, as YouTuber darkmatter2525 states "Without guns, people would be killing each other with stones and hammers."
So, from my perspective, a world free of firearms would place us in a better scenario.

And you're a fucking turdmuncher who thinks police only "serve as cleanup".
Way to go disregarding the majority of police work that goes into capturing criminals.

The US constitution, although undoubtedly a importent historic document, was writen by a bunch of mysogenist, racist, syphilitic and generaly backwards people.
And to think that the world hasnt changed since the 18th century is beyond stupid! One might aswell argue for the constitutionaly provided right to own slaves - which YES was included in the original document.
I base my opinion on facts - and these clearly show that the crime rate in the US isnt higher than in other western countries.
The only thing that I may critizise is - I think weapons should be registered, ex-convicts, radicals, political groups and mentaly unstable people shouldnt be allowed to receive weapons.
Other than that, I actualy think that even fully automatic rifles can be legal.
I'd have to agree with you, Germans. I think that arms, regardless of the variety, can be handed by responsible citizens.
Some of you on this forum are no different from the theists you criticize for being childish bigots!

Easy to claim victimization when you make bullshit statements and never back them up.

Its funny. The law here to buy realistic airsoft guns appears to be tougher than it is to buy real guns in the US. I think with similar laws in the US regarding buying, owning and transporting guns would be fair. I don't fully understand why somebody would want an assault rifle. I get it from the point of nostalgia with certain guns but as a weapon for defending yourself it seems a poor choice.

I doubt that the two of you would be using such insulting language in face to face communication.
As a website administrator, I'd hold higher expectations for you, Moros.
I certainly do hate being fired upon by slang cliches.
Let's "take this to the R'lyeh".

No. I tell twats to their face that they're being twats. Use your brain and the gift of the internet and its sum of human knowledge before making bullshit claims like you have.
