Churchill said it best: "Democracy is the worst form of government except all the others that have been tried."

He did say that. Even if it's true, it can't be the best system which could be devised.

Meatball I am sorry, I tried to reply the other day but my connection went to hell in a hand basket mid post. But to be more specific regarding Obama and his job performance first his so called solutions to resolving the countries economic issues are counter productive. His excessive borrowing from foreign countries has buried us in more debt. His bail outs in most cases were excessive and in my opinion backward thinking since we were already in a huge economic crises and spending more money which we obviously can't spare is rediculous. His so called universal healthcare plan is yet another expense that we just can't afford. His printing money to try to make up for some of the economic gaps has and continues to inflate the economy and deflate the value of the American dollar.
Those are just some of my contentions there are many more and I do not wish to delve too deeply into politics since I find it pretty boring actually.

Well I still love Obama. Compared the the last guy he's doing a wonderful job. Bush took us on a downward spending spiral that I doubt Obama will be able to get us out of. We had a surplus when Bush took office, now we have the biggest deficit in history. Those dumb wars aren't the only thing to blame for that. Bush had a big spending habbit. I am disappointing that Obama is sending more troops to Afghanistan. I don't think there is any win over there and we just need to leave. I've been watching the health care situation, things are moving as expected. The senate can't do anything quickly. As for it being universal health care, it isn't and never was a universal health care plan. Not even close to a 'so called'.
