Looks like Kepler has gone tits up

Looks like Kepler has gone tits up
The Kepler space telescope has lost another reaction wheel. This is the second one to fail. It needs three to operate. It only had four to start with. 4 - 2 = $600 million worth of space junk.

Its only four years old too. At least it has been a success thus far

Or should i say up until now.
We are all atheists about most of the gods that societies have ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further.

How many deep water wells could have been drilled in the water staved areas of Africa, even at $10,000 dollars a well that would be 60,000 wells. That many wells would help people get on tract for a better future, water always leads the way to a future.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Who says we can't do both?

Africa is in the condition it's in not because there are insufficient resources to help, but because of politics and petty warlording.

And space exploration is just pointless anyway, right?

Any search for the truth must be condamned as pointless if your life revolves around serving an all encompassing lie.

Perhaps it could serve for a little while longer at diminished capacity if it had attitude thrusters and fuel for them.

To me that is an excuse, many places in Africa would welcome those wells, also there are other places in the world that would benefit from wells. You will blame Christians for a chance to spread the Gospel while digging wells for those in need of water, or building schools and ect. Yet you will make excuses for the rest of the world not to take action for these who are in need. I think people are always more important than science projects that are probably not beneficial to man and especially if it leaves out the impoverished. We have the ability to give the people of nations with need for water that very water they need, so tell me why don't we and political should never be an excuse.

When it's put before those in great need, you're damn right it's pointless!!!

I'm curious about what kind of things you have put before those in need GC?
