Hi. I am an atheist and I am looking for a place to talk and share my beliefs with people who want and feel the same way I do about our existence. I don't have anyone who I can talk to about being an atheist, let alone my beliefs. I hope this could be the place where I can finally find some like minded people.

When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. So I'm curious, because I have only heard of theism recently. If someone believes in theism they believe all religion came from one deity or there is only one deity and it is the purpose of life? I'm not trying to start an argument, i am just curious of the actual definition?

Theist is someone who believes in god who intervenes in human life.
