That's a pretty massive "if". Trayvon was standing, sheltering from the rain. Zimmerman swept past that spot and immediately rang to report him. Not a word was said on the phone about him doing what you just said.

Earlier in this thread, someone described Zimmerman as having 2 black eyes and looking like he'd undergone an attack of great fury. Then I saw this. With the staining washed off of the back of his head, the full totality of his injuries are incredibly minimal. And he was screaming for help like a little girl before he murdered Trayvon.

It is only a massive if if you are willing to dismiss anything Zimmerman did or said without considering relative evidence such as that supporting the position that Martin was a racist, homophobic, thieving, violent punk who very well could have been up to no good.

I broke my nose twice.

If you break your nose you dont get a hard bleeding cut open nose as it is portraied in the movies.

I did in fact not bleed at all in both cases when my nose was was broken.

So yes, if the medical examination says his nose was broken - it was broken. And a broken nose is a serious injury in medical terms.

So Zimmerman should have waited for more serious injuries? I wouldn't and if the same thing happened to me, I'd shoot him too.

No he said Martin was acting suspiciously. Later in the police interview he explained the suspicious activity as peering into houses.

As far as being black goes the evidence on the quality of Martin's character speaks for itself without considering race. Martin's friend reported the words he used to describe Zimmerman as "creepy cracker." She is the one who interpreted those words as a homophobic racial slur. The description is along the same lines as calling a black man a nigger faggot.

As the article stated Martin had already been suspended from school for suspicion of burglary after he was found in possession of suspected stolen goods and tools of the trade. This was after he was caught on video vandalizing school property. Evidence of his propensity towards violence can be found if Martin's own texts and Facebook posts.

Yes YOU made it about race. Ending your sentence with "because he was black..." makes YOU the person that made it about race.

And for the record, I do not own nor will I any firearms at all. I do not particularly care for guns -- but if I was getting the shit kicked out of me and felt my life was threatened, I would have no issue USING a firearm if I had one on me.
