Yeah, I just Googled the matter and it seems that it varies from culture to culture. And I don't care much for the details of an engagement either. I got this ring when I was ten, figured later out that it fit my ring finger perfectly, gave it to Scruffy and said that if he ever wants to propose, he could use the old one or get the measurements from it. Fuck diamonds, I prefer practicality
