But you are saying because unthinking natural forces can't be "blamed" for disasters
like Haiti, Therefore God( who is a thinking being,presumably) cannot, likewise be blamed.
I still don't see the correlation.
If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.

I think you're at dual purposes here Zen. God created the 'unthinking' natural forces. That's the way they work and that's what sustains life.
God couldn't then intervene for your reasoning because that would be saying that natural laws are wrong. Science deals with it. So must you. From our puny perspective we see identical beings suffering. In the greater scheme of things this is how this existence works.Every way you think about it (to me) leads to the same conclusion: natural forces just are, and that's 'good'.
