Rondee the problem is, the whole stilt of catholicism rests on the church that jesus supposedly set in place. For the church to retain it's essence of god, they must actively purge vile sin encroachments and infuse the church with righteous love. Their actions of concealment and concern for liability costs in the pedophilic priests scandals belie their claims of being the true church on the original foundation of christ.
You cannot say that the priest pedophile cases are not vile and you cannot say that the churches response was appropriate. This is the zinger that Mini keeps referring to because it mocks your church's hypocrisy.
