It's just odd that Hitler, being a christian, had more of a chance of getting into Heaven than Ghandi, being a hindu.
The nazi's employed all sorts of terms prases symbols and ideology into their armed forces. Himler was incharge of all of this and he took alittle as many 'good luck' symbols/phrases as he could and used them to magically safe gaurd their war efforts. The SS runes were from a nortic background, The Deaths head/jollyrodger was prussian, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uniforms_an...affelwhile the Swastika was taken from eastern influences, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swastika, there were rights and cermonies taken from seceret soceities, and even their egale was taken from Rome.
If the Nazi's were Christian, then they would have known that 'God' does not like it when we cobble Him in with the symbols and beliefs of other gods.

Most, but not all Nazis were xtians. Most, but not all neo-Nazis are xtians. Which doesn't mean shit.
A mind is a terrible thing to waste -- don't pollute it with bullshit.
Jesus seems to have said many things that Yahweh never said. Father seems to need a good talk with his son about how things are supposed to work.

Quote:1 Samuel 15:3 God commands the death of helpless "suckling" infants. This literally means that the children god killed were still nursing.
Psalms 135:8 & 136:10 Here god is praised for slaughtering little babies.
Psalms 137:9 Here god commands that infants should be “dashed upon the rocks”.

Are you talking about Matthew 18:6?
Matthew 18:6 Wrote:"If anyone causes one of these little ones--those who believe in me--to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea."
Because if you are, then that's the same verse Jesus will use to judge the Christians who have caused former Christians to fall away.
If not, what verse do you have for support of your claim?

They did have a religious phrase on their buckles :
It meant "God with us"
Hitler was Catholic, whether Xtians like it or not. He spoke about it in "Mein Kampf", he also referenced it in many of the speeches he made.
As time went on the hierarchy drifted toward a sort of Wagnerian paganism filled with Nordic myths about the old gods, heroes and such. Hitler loved Wagner's music and was in fact a friend of the Wagner family.

Hell is when you spend your perfectly healthy and youthful life worry about something that you read in a book that has 0 evidence of being true. It is like sleeping with garlic around your neck for your entire life because you read Dracula.

Hi Folks,
I have been thinking about the Concept of hell more and more and it appears to me with all my reading that there are only two religions that offer the Concept of an 'ETERNAL' Hell.
Christianity
Islam
Can someone please tell me if they have found other religions that teach Eternal Suffering, It seams strange that these two are the only two religions that offer this concept.
The question then arises with Pascals Wager in that providing all other religions have less severe Hell's e.g. 1 Year / Forgiveness in the End then the Gamble is getting it wrong with these two.
The other aspect of this is the fact that Islam teach that you will goto Hell permanently for not believing in God i.e. worshiping Jesus.
And Christianity is the inverse of this so its literally a coin toss.
What are your thoughts?
Wrong. If you look it up there are many many types of hells from different cultures, past and present, from all over the world. It is nothing like a coin toss.
You are going to hell. I don't care who you are, what you do, or what you believe -- according to some people you are definitely going to hell. There is no way around that. Conservative Muslims think that all Christians go to hell. Conservative Catholics think that all Protestants go to hell. According to the Amish you go to hell for driving a car or using a telephone. According to Fred Phelps you go to hell for not being Fred Phelps. You are going to hell.
There is some good news. There is no hell. Hell is a joke. Pascal's Wager is a joke.
Hell is an authoritarian concept derived to maintain control over people. It has been effective in the past -- fortunately today our society is advanced enough that there are just a few weirdos here and there who take that bullshit seriously. Sane and rational people don't ever worry about it ever.
You have proof of all this , right?

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

I have a question for you "themonkeyman," if you are so sure there's no God to punish you why are you so worried about it, even to a point of obsession.
