That seems unlikely, what with how they wrote magic book.
If the gods people describe are riddled with contradiction and paradox, then the gods people believe in are riddled with contradiction and paradox. I guess that's an issue for the rationality of god belief...but from an existential angle, it's unclear why it would be a problem. We're full of contradiction and paradox ourselves.
I wonder what a god would think about relationships with the faithful who were always trying to fix him?

If Gawd wanted to prove atheists wrong he could just show up and perform a miracle or part a sea or walk in with a plague. Just showing up would help his case a lot. It's been a long time, surely he is rested up enough to do a little traveling.
