Laws in my country, and most of the world, do not come from Islam. But anyway.

Morality does not come from religion, it is a social construct that has evolved along with our society and civilization.

So you say that you obey the law, unless it is 'against islam'. You can break the law if it is required by islam. But you follow the law if it not specifically legislated against by islam.

None of this deals with morality. A thing is moral or immoral, law has nothing to do with it. Laws are made on the basis of morality, not the other way around. A law against something does not make it immoral.

People get shot for really really bad reasons, like "you spoke to the American". I actually have almost first hand experience of this.

Americans are actually liked in Iran. I was randomly reading hotel reviews in Tehran and many Americans commented about the excellent service and smiles when they people they were American. Great hospitality.

This is illogical. Someone who can destroy hearing and sight is not immediately capable of doing anything. I can blind and deafen someone. I can't lift a bus with my finger. This statement is illogical.

"Those who disbelieve [are] Deaf, dumb, blind, therefore they have no sense." 2:171

People who are deaf dumb and blind do not have no sense. Even if this was construed to mean 'cannot sense' it isn't true because they could smell and feel. this is illogical.

I wasn't talking about Iran. Did I mention Iran? Oh, and are you saying that you have perfect knowledge that no American has been shot in Iran? For any reason? Even a bad one? I suggest that this is information that you couldn't possibly have.
