No. But if it was, if it made me feel uncomfortable - well that would have been my problem not his - some boundaries are to be expected, however everyone has to deal with uncomfortable situations, and people who have different boundaries should also understand and accept that.

I've made a mistake about you and I realize now that you truly have the warmth and love of something far greater than anything I've ever experienced.
You've shown me the true nature of Jesus Christ in this thread and I want more than anything to share it with you and your fellow parishioners.
No other denomination will do for me. As you know I have had a lot of disbelief with other Christians but this thread has shown me that you are truly onto something. I can only hope that the other christians in your church have this amount of love and respect for their fellow creations of god. When I show up for Sunday morning service, I'll make sure to bring some copies of this and many of your other threads. I know they'll be super impressed with your testimony that finally won me over. I think together, we could really win some souls over and really change the face of these forums.

One things for sure. I can't be seen with these awful non-believers any longer. Please help me be more like you and Jesus. I would VERY much appreciate it if you could send me the name of your church so that I could learn from those who taught you your amazing moral character. I'll understand if you want to just PM me the name of the church, but please don't take too long.

Nonsense. Physical contact is not something that people have to allow from strangers as an incidental cost of social interaction. And just because everyone has to deal with uncomfortable situations doesn't mean that others are allowed make people uncomfortable with something that is unnecessary.

It is totally the person that initiates the contact's problem, as they are the ones responsible for making the other uncomfortable with a gesture that has an intimate nature to it. There are even people that have suffered rape and abuse that can't tolerate being touched because it reminds them of the abuse. But even if there wasn't, that doesn't give people the right to physically touch someone.

They're called boundaries for a reason.

Yep, because the people who get to decide what my boundaries are are definitely random strangers and not me.

Uh. I don't give a shit who agrees with me, if you touch me and I haven't given you express permission, you might get pepper sprayed. What is it with Christians and wanting to invade everyone's bodies?
