If there's already a crowd I'm not going to shoot him I'm just going to ditch him if he can't keep up
Bottom line I love my friends and family but I am not willing to die for them
And if I had to make the painful choice of killing them it would be in the most pain free way I could think of
Zombie Apocalypse: Me First
I would die for my family and friends. I wouldn't think twice about it. How is my life worth more than their's?

ofc your life is worth more (atleast for the human race)
you're younger , so you have a better chance of surviving and living longer .

(This post was last modified: February 22, 2014 at 1:41 pm by My imaginary friend is GOD.)
There's a test I give everyone I know to see if they may be in my survival group. "If your pet ran into a zombie horde, would you try to rescue it?" If they say yes, they're out. My mom cannot be in my survival group, for example. (This scenario is from Day of the Dead, and later the video game Dead Rising.)
Also, if anyone gets bitten, I will take their ass out.

A: crowd of walkers
I'm ditching her
B: she falls
I won't look back
C: she gets infected
I'm going to poison her soup, then shoot her In that situation you would need your friends moral support and help killing these walkers so it would be stupid to ditch them so readily.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.

This. In such an extreme and stressful situation, how could you ever trust that your companions wouldn't crack? Zombies at least would be predictable. A human who's gone stark raving mad from PTSD is another thing entirely.
In a zombie apocalypse, choose your friends wisely and be prepared to take them out at the first sign of trouble.

If my dog ran out into a zombie horde , it's probably in an attempt to protect me. Unfortunately since he was never trained, I doubt I could do much to get him to just run unless I had a rope. Actually keeping my distance would likely motivate him to leave, anyway.
