It's hard to tell. When anyone presses him on the idiocy of Christian belief he equivocates by suggesting, "oh, that is stupid! But THAT'S not what I belIeve!" The typical non-answer.

Poor guy. Sounds like he has some big problems with women to be engaged in self-deception of this magnitude. Things like this don't happen for no reason.

And besides if there is no afterlife you can toss out heaven, hell and salvation. What are you left with? Love thy neighbor and don't look at women with lust?
I think you can make your own morality which is better than the one in the bible so what else is there?
