If it is a new medication it has to go through its entire patent life in order for other pharma companies to make a generic form which is always cheaper. During this patent life they are able to charge ridiculous prices for new medications and new medications are rarely covered under health insurance plans.

I am actually surprised you were prescribed a stimulant, TC. Usually people with your condition are supposed to stay faaaar away from those.

I've known of other medicines that weren't geneeric that weren't this bad.

Lamictal was 200 a month. Seroquel was 300

But yeah there probably are plenty that are close to 1,000 a month give or take. THe good thing is my Mom is a Doc so she does get some samples. Been taking the samples last few days.

Good stuff but causes me to grind my teeth alot.

But... TC told me he has hallucinated... that should rule out stimulants even if he IS ADHD. My god. Fuck it, I give up American Healthcare.

Yeah stimulants. They're good when I'm in my depressive stage.

Last one I was on was Adderall. I loved it. Even snorted it and shot it up.

Afer that it was straterra and dexedrine.

Yeah but they are bad for anyone prone to hallucinations. Hell, I've even heard you shouldn't use them for depression but that is going a bit far outside my knowledge sphere.

My hallucinations were actully caused by drugs. I haven't hallucinated when sober. Very disturbing images and temptations take place in my mind and imagination but no actual seeing things with the naked eye that aren't there.
