RE: Can I become a Mod?
How can you expect a person to moderate a forum, when he can't even moderate himself? Thinking

It must be a year or more since I contributed anything worthwhile, if ever.

Must suck to moderate here a lot of the time, a lot of the members here are strong willed, argumentative and dislike any authority. Its disappointing how often people turn into complete assholes when the staff step in.

Well, that is almost never a single person's decision, except for obvious spambots & the like.

But yeah, it feels good, most of the time. I had to ban fr0d0 for 3 days recently, something that I drawed no pleasure, because personally I'm fond of the hobbit. Since then, lets just say I have littkle faith for people's reasoning skills when their ego's get in the way Confused

Sometimes. A lot of the time, it's really pretty quiet - with nary a report to deal with. Other days, not so much.

Aaaw, that's right, you guys aren't able to see the thread where we mods compared the size and looks of our.. hammers. Tongue
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
