As the stereotypical gay (well half-gay) man, I love musicals. My favourite is of course, the utterly fabulous "Les Miserables". If you have a chance to see this show in London (and only in London) then take it! Here are some great songs:

Strange (?) how terrific 'I Dreamed A Dream ' sounds when sung by someone with a personality who sounds as if she understands and has lived the lyrics.

I've never understood he Susan Boyle thing. Seems to me people were simply stunned at the incongruity of a quite good voice issuing from such an unfortunate looking woman.

Yeah,I've tried to listen to her album; boring..

I've only ever read the novel. I'm not much of a fan of musicals. However, I will heed your advice, if I ever have the opportunity.

Saw 'Les Mis' in Sydney in 1990ish ClapGreat

Top show!!....brought tears to my eyes (in a good way) The songs so touching the artists delivered!!Worship (large)

Perhaps in the DVD, but I've been to the show in London twice and it was there both times. I'll have to go again this year (25th anniversary!!!) and see for sure though.

I saw Les Mis in NY and I have to agree it's one of my most favorite as well. phantom being a close second.. although it doesn't seems to have the re-watchability (I know it's not a word I'm tired Tongue) of Les Mis
