Why did they cut Gavroche's song from that show?
Catholics bitching about the line about fleas biting the pope's ass?

I've only ever read the novel. I'm not much of a fan of musicals. However, I will heed your advice, if I ever have the opportunity.

Perhaps in the DVD, but I've been to the show in London twice and it was there both times. I'll have to go again this year (25th anniversary!!!) and see for sure though.

The only reason I can think of to cut that song is pressure from religious fuckwits.

I saw Les Mis in NY and I have to agree it's one of my most favorite as well. phantom being a close second.. although it doesn't seems to have the re-watchability (I know it's not a word I'm tired
) of Les Mis
