Is this a us based website?
I hope so, because I'm forever going against my natural Australian spelling and typing in American out of respect... Been doing it for years on the US mustang forums, it's almost second nature... Eg, color = colour, tires=tyres All the dudes on the forum say: your instead of you're. Too afraid to say anything in case it's been colloquialised.

I don't know if it's the lack of sleep, or the difference in word meaning but this made me laugh so hard. In the US cookie is used for all biscuits hehehe. I would have said, in the UK a cookie is called a biscuit where in America a biscuit is a fluffy puff of hot bread drown in gravy. Lol :p Also, cookie is slang for other girlie bits.
ok... and where do crackers fit in?

She's not litterally offering cookies at all! Hehe

I'm not sure about in the UK maybe it's still just a biscuit. I offer cookies because I think it's a nice funny gesture that makes new people feel welcome. I try to resist the urge to hit on people in their intro thread. I'm not always successful but I try. |
