You know what really grinds my gears?: The moaning thread.
August 3, 2014 at 6:34 am
I don't know about you guys but I enjoy moaning about things. I know i'm not alone in this so I made this thread as a place where we can vent. Have a good moan about anything that annoys you or you don't like, it always makes me feel better. This thread will be here for you anytime the need arises to vent your frustration
I'll start shall I?
Women who wear smart waistcoats. I have absolutely no reason why, they just look odd to my eye.

'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House

Misleading titled threads just make me wanna dig my daggers into some jugulars. This one, for instance, I saw moaning and thought I was going to A69. Oh well, been meaning to tell you I love your avatar bad wolf
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Thank you, I like it too
Oh I got another one. People who complain that Bear Grylls is a fake. He is not a fake just because he sometimes stays in hotels when he is on location. The premise of his show is to demonstrate survival skills, it is not a show where he is abandoned in the middle of nowhere and left to survive and it never claims to be. He still does all the stunts for real and he still eats all that disgusting shit and he still kills dangerous animals like alligators and snakes.

I get this and for the most part I agree with you, people who moan about it do get on my tits.
But saying that, they do have a point. In his show, despite the premise he does usually explicitly state that he is going to be trekking and surviving in the wilderness. It's pretty misleading tbh. If you said to someone you were going to go on a trip to the Amazon to survive in the jungle, you wouldn't expect them to be sleeping in a 5 star hotel on the evening.

Still, anally imbibing bird guano contaminated water is something you don't see on TV everyday.
And in some venues, video of someone eating bearshit is considered porn.

Groups of people who walk in one big line completely blocking off the entire pavement! Sometimes I just feel like pushing them out the way and swearing at them. And people who walk ridiculously slow and people who just suddenly stop walking, and groups of people standing around in the busiest area possible getting in everybody's way. I hate people!
Lets not pretend anymore, this is just a thread for me to moan on, screw everyone else.

People who have contradicting behaviour and don't notice it... No I'm not talking about theists only, but people who insult others without looking at themselves first. People who complain about their neighbour being poor because of laziness and then they complain that their neighbour is a rich greedy bastard for having a ferrari, the kind of people who are not happy with anything
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you

Maybe we should have a "isn't this thread like the ________ thread?" thread.
