The Bible has countless stories involving just one or two people and complex detailed dialog. So who else was there to write such things down? If you believe such stories why don't you believe that the comments you read here are from God? Which scenario should be more reasonable? Stuff written who knows how long ago or stuff that you read written in real time before your very eyes?

Jeremiah 8:4-5 Wrote:Tell them: Thus says the Lord:
When someone falls, do they not rise again?
if they turn away, do they not turn back?
Why then do these people resist
with persistent rebellion?
Why do they cling to deception,
refuse to turn back? Emphasis mine.
Your name is ironic, though perhaps the irony is unintended. The answer to your question is that if there were explanations apologists would probably have found them in the last two millennium. God knows (pardon the expression) they've tried hard enough.
Personal question, have you ever wondered what would happen if the Hindus are right? How about the ancient Egyptians? Thought not. But I can't see why they are any more or less worth worrying about.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

After we die and both stand in judgement, if it turns out that Muhammad is the one manning the gates of Heaven, just before we're both cast into Hell for eternity I'm going to turn to you and say, "You know, I saved 10% of my income and got to sleep in every Sunday."

Undeceived, if you provide logical explanations, I promise to try to read them. It could be hard, though, because of my eyes watering from the mixed odors of napalm and burnt flesh rising from this thread. But good luck with your ad hoc justifications anyway. I'm sure they will be amusing.

Logic is not the friend of those who rely on the supernatural....but give it your best shot.

Reading this at first on my phone, I thought your response was from an atheist being a smart-ass.
But no, you are serious! lol
What if Norse mythology is ALL TRUE? What then?
What if Islam is ALL TRUE? What then?
What if (insert 100s of other bullshit religious claims here) is ALL TRUE? What then?
JesusHChrist man! Is this the best you can do?

Are you saying you've never considered it, or are you saying that Norse mythology and Islam are obviously wrong?

When you understand why you don't believe in Islam, you understand why we don't believe either Islam or Christianity.
This is a paraphrase of a classic atheist "one less god than you believe in" quote.

I was married to a Christian for 28 years, surrounded by Christian family, attended many church services, read Lee Strobel, Hugh Ross and Michael Behe's crap, had numerous conversations over the years - both in person and on the net - with believers, so yes, it would be hard not to "consider" it.
Unfortunately for the Christian, your mythology does hold up to scrutiny any better than any other mythology. It is unsupportable nonsense as are all the rest.
Except for pastafarianism. THAT is the one true religion! Ramen.
