I tell you what, there isn't much I wouldn't do for my daughter. I don't even know if I could accurately describe the feelings you have towards your child, but I guess "love" has to do for now. Relationship type love isn't for me though. My parents are very much in love so I know it exists but it's dynamic. They could divorce tomorrow. Who knows?
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

Haha Yeah they know. They also know I think it's gross when they kiss and get mushy. Haha They'll do it on purpose so now it's almost an obligation or a running joke for me to go "Ewwww" even though I'm 30 and have been comfortable with their affection since I was like 15. Actually I am getting kinda grossed out now talking about it. Hahaha

1. Yes, love exists. It is a part of consciousness, which is part of each individual on the planet.
2. Yes -- still do, on some level, daily. I have kids. 3. Love is not only the chemistry, but a value placed on another person and their impact on your life; it is something that makes you want them IN your life. My high school Sociology teacher asked that very question, "What is love?" in class. My answer THEN was, "The desire to share one's self and one's life with another." He thought that was a little thin......  "I THINK, therefore I am DANGEROUS..."
