30%C HOT?
Where do you live? Canada?
Here 30C considered warm. 35 (90F) is hot. A week of 38 (100F) is not uncommon.
Right now,it's winter here. The winter solsitice was few days ago. Minimum temperature last night was 5C,which is considered very cold.
I can't remember the last time it reached 0C here in the city, but it it does occasionally in the hills. Once, as a child,I actaully saw a patch of snow in the hills. It must have easily been 6 feet across!! I kid you not.
I've seen snow falling once in my life; Italian alps,1990.
ME? I like the temperature to be 25C in my house. Over or under that I put on the a/c.
Currently,it's 12C in this room and I'm losing the feeling in my fingers. I'm going out in my car now. It has a heater.

You wouldn't want to live in New England, it's weather is infamous for being terrible, unpredictable, and weird. Plus it fluctuates heavily. We get as high 97F, we usually stay under 100F, with severe humidity. The combo brings severe thunderstorms in the summer. The occasional Hurricane makes it up here. In the winter, you can get into the single Fahrenheit digits, which let me tell, you that's nothing like 0C. I consider 0C to be warm. Plus we get snowstorms and blizzards. Try getting used to that!

As padraic said....yeah we know.
-0.6 here in Perth last night...amazing only that it is usually raining at this time of year here. Temperature fluctuations are not uncommon in Oz...Snow in Radilade?? That is unusual but not to be unexpected. We get snow in Thredbo in High Summer.
Ya just gotta sit back and admire this planet we live on eh??

If it took a couple of hours to drop the temp that eight degrees then your air conditioning system sucks dude.
You really ought to have it looked at by a professional a/c technician to avoid any damage to your major components.
My charges for such services are $79 locally. Anything outside the continental U.S. there is a .99cent per mile trip charge. Like me to come out? How many miles is it from here to there? I'm thinking approx. 1400.
About $1500 I'll come and tell ya what you need to increase your efficiency.
What a deal! You can't afford not to! Call now before you miss out on this spectacular deal of a life time.

It's 20-23 celsius here - middle of winter in South-East Queensland, Australia.
I believe it hit 40 C last summer...

Perth atm is expxeriencing some very low temps ...funny how you get nothing but "Ohhhh....isn't it cold!!"
40 degrees is about the norm isn't it?? (for summer I mean)

Today it was 40C in Louisiana, with a heat index of 42C....
And with Louisiana being the lowest land point in the U.S.A. (We are right at 4.6 meters below sea level)..., I shouldn't have to mention the Humidity levels.....LOL...
Min..You can keep that dry shit....I've been to a few places in Arizona. When it's 48C, humidity doesn't matter anymore....lol

You never saw a sweaty camel. Heat without humidity isn't all that bad.
They just celebrated the 20th anniversay of the hottest day ever recorded in Phoenix. 122.
I wasn't here for that one.
