Hey, His_Majesty. What 'kind' of animal is a platypus?

'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House
“Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom

He refuses to acknowledge real science while claiming his view is the real one... how about we try to find out why that is?
I think it's time for some real answers from His Majesty.
1. According to your posting timestamps and mastery of the english language, I'd say you're living in the United States. Is that correct?
Low blow.

Still 'lolling' at "stop arguing with someone that is above your intellectual superior". Translated, that means 'trust what I say because I'm so much smarter than you ', whether or not that's true (and as Esq pointed out, the language is a dead giveaway here). No wonder you go all frothy over Wells and anyone else in a lab coat, Maj. I'd say no wonder you're religious, as well, if it wasn't such a truism. Trust the powerful and the glib.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

You're just jealous that he's more smarterer than you.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

You've not seen my little movie, Poltergeist 2, I take it? I had a bit of a catchphrase in that: "Because I'm smart!" Well, that and "You're all gonna die in there!" but that's another story.
Gad, those were the days...

Personally I believe there's no Abrahamic nor pagan god as can be found in scriptures and legends.
If you're asking about some higher power, the answer would be "I don't know, it hasn't been substantiated".
Yes! That is exactly how I feel.

When scientists find the answer it wont be pretty for theists but hey we will understand how the universe came to be that is something to take away from it.
what nothing looks like
the lack of everything and nothing in it with no time and space.
Nope. That's not a nothing. That's an expanse of blackness. I don't think it's really possible to illustrate "nothing."

Currently, red pandas are considered members of their own unique family—the Ailuridae. Red pandas are endangered, victims of deforestation.
You have to go back a little farther than the raccoon to find the Red Panda's common ancestor to giant pandas. They're their own genus, but closer to mustelids (eg, badgers and weasels), procyonids (eg, raccoons and kinkajous) and skunks than to bears.
Which raises the question: why do they look 'bear-ish' but have genes more like a skunk's? It's something that evolution can explain better than any alternative we've yet come across.
(November 19, 2014 at 3:51 pm)dyresand Wrote: if you look at my post i proved you wrong its apart of the giant panda family that is also related to the racoon family.
It's not actually a part of the giant panda family, I'm afraid, although it was long thought to be. The closer relationship is to the racoon, but it's the only extand member of its family (Ailuridae). However, it belongs to the superfamily Musteloidea, which includes badgers, skunks, and racoons; but not bears. Your main point that the red panda isn't a bear stands.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
