Also, I don't know if English is your second language or not. If it is, you're doing pretty good, but I got one tip for you, not to be mean, but to help. Always put a space after punctuation. So your statement should look this:

Notice the spaces after the commas and periods. That's proper grammar.

Yes the spaces are a good idea. I wouldn't class that as grammar but ok.

By the very act of 'disliking it', you are making a judgement about it.

I think he said that he didn't understand homosexuality and that he thinks the idea is gross, but that doesn't mean he has anything against homosexuals. I also think peas are gross, but I don't think that peas should all be destroyed and never looked at again.

Maybe I'm wrong and that's not what he said, but I feel like you guys just jumped at him.

Mem,if I met you,your preferences wouldn't matter to me. Why do you think that they would just because I don't like it? I don't see why some people can't agree to disagree without necessarily disliking each other.Me not liking homosexuality just means that it doesn't fit with my preference,and if any judgment is being made it is one of preference,not if it's right or wrong.
You being nice or not nice is separate from you doing whatever it is that you do. I judge what you do as something that I dislike,and you probably do many more things that I dislike and I probably do things that you dislike.But that's not the point. No one has to like another person's habits or preferences or tastes.The person above who said that disliking it is making a judgment is correct, I judge it as not being for me, and asthetically I find it displeasing.I don't understand why they tried to make me out to be homophobic.But if homophobic means fear of gays,I'm not scared.If it means hating gays, I don't hate them.If it means not liking it, then ok I am homophobic.I am also british weather phobic.

That was my point. Disliking something requires a judgement of that something. That doesn't mean the same thing as hating, detesting, or condemning that something.

I think what everyone is assuming, Ole, is that you are anti-gay, because of your religion. If that is not the case... good.

I think the question that everyone is asking now is why don't you like gays? To fire such a general broadside you must provide a reason, and one that does not get dissected ultimately ro religious dogma, Mabe I'm getting stuck on semantics here. Do you dislike gays, or you just don't understand their tastes?

Although I suspect that there is no evidence supported reason for not liking gays in general,
