I think a lot of people that are atheist if they were to honestly look into scripture and the things of God may take a different view.

You're aware the that a large majority of atheists used to be theists, right? Or are you going to pull a Drich and say that we weren't the right kind of Christian, or not Christian enough?

You are speaking metaphorically. Your heart does nothing but pump blood, regardless of what the bible has to say about it.

The secret of prayer is to pray for what one needs and never tell God how to do it. I've never prayed and got an answer exactly the way I would have done it, but an answer is a answer.

You do not understand religious terminology which is taken out of the Bible. I was assuming that you mean it metaphorically. I was just being wilfully literal in order to make the point that it is not clear for what exactly the metaphor it is supposed to be. This vague sense of feeling which I suspect you call "heart" is not a reliable arbiter of what is real and what is not.

Yeah... you keep telling yourself that.

What a crock of shit. We don't care about "the right way to pray".

I'm afraid you are utterly wasting your time preaching to us, sorry. You obviously have incredibly low standards of evidence when it comes to these things, but we do not.
You need a logical argument, not emotional appeals.
