The 'translation' is "Whatever suits the argument".
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

God has no place within these walls, just as facts have no place within organized religion.
-- Superintendent Chalmers

Science is like a blabbermouth who ruins a movie by telling you how it ends. There are some things we don't want to know. Important things.
-- Ned Flanders

Once something's been approved by the government, it's no longer immoral.

The fucking OT is ancient superstitious horseshit. The sooner you learn that son, the sooner you will wise up.

Currently, we are in the 7'th day which is between 100,000 - 50,000 years duration and will continue from now to Christ's 2'nd return (near the very end of the 7 year tribulation period) + 1000 years of Kingdom rule on earth. Then the 7'th day will end.

And as we all know 1 year= 365 days, 1 day=100,000-50,000 (we'll say 75,000) years, as you say, so that 1000 year rule will last roughly...27,000,000,000 years with each day lasting 75,000 years. Wait... No, I had this.

The title is misleading. DNA was NOT, repeat NOT, found on asteroids, meteors, or contaminating our foodstuffs. OK, that last one isn't true, but they really didn't find DNA in space.

What they found was adenine and guanine, two of the four nucleobases that form DNA. This is like finding a couple of bricks in my yard and hollering "hey everyone, there's a mansion buried in my back yard!"

The reason it's important is that adenine and guanine don't naturally occur on Earth. The question 'where did those building blocks come from?' has been floating around for decades. So has the answer "they came from meteorites," but only now has that answer been unquestionably confirmed.

Due to the nature of the study of abiogenesis, I sincerely doubt that there will ever be a single creationism-busting discovery. It will be a slow, gradual process, sort of like abiogenesis itself. And pretty much no matter what science discovers, creationists will never admit that their silly literal reading of genesis is wrong.

I get it, by "interpretation" you can get the buy bull to mean any damn thing you want it to.

And the reason that there are so many different explanations for that are because the Bible doesn't give that information directly, if at all. Not a single obvious clue as to how long the "creation days" were, nor why the "rest period" had to mean anything more than that, or why Christ would wait until the "eighth day" to return. Nothing. You make it up as you go along and then split with other groups over disagreement on stuff that none of you can know for sure.

That's what comes of reading and believing the book that god supposedly wrote: mass confusion to the point of schism. Great job, Yahweh.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

You will be surprised how easy it is to tell a child how evolution works vs the other alternative.
But yeah dna well binary dna can be found in space.

That would be an interesting experiment. Take a bunch of kids (un-indoctrinated) at a certain age, and then give a priest and a scientist 15 minutes each with the kids. The cherubs then have a ballot to decide which "story" they think makes most sense, creationism or evolution.

At what age would science start winning? Or would it always win? (Bias apparent).

Even the English word 'day' requires context, i.e., " in their grandfather's day", or "day of the dinosaurs". The creation passages are completely harmonious with science when the Hebrew word 'Yom' is correctly interpreted in context as 'a long but finite period of time'.
