I've actually been to the Linville Gorge for a quick hike and a look. Some of my family lives in Asheville and I go there occasionally. Beautiful place. I might be going to Kentucky relatively soon.

I'm going back in a few weeks to see if the rhods finally bloomed. You know it's been a hard winter when you hit mid-April and the mountains are STILL nude of deciduous leaves...
