Donald Trump and political correctness
#51
RE: Donald Trump and political correctness
Last night, MSNBC's Lawerence O'Donnell took Trump apart on one aspect of his anti-immigrant platform.  Trump is ignorant.  He does not know shit from shinola.  Which is what makes him a hero to the bigots of the republicunt base.

Totally wrong.  The money wing of the party is shitting a brick because Trump doesn't need them.  Unlike the other turds who are owned by one billionaire or another Trump can tell them all to go fuck themselves.  He's still a fucking douchebag who thinks this is some kind of a game but the GOP's elites are not at all happy about him coming along and pissing on their parade.

How is a billionaire using his own money any better than paying someone else? It still amounts to a plutocracy.

Because the Koch brothers, Sheldon Adelson, Foster Friess, Paul Singer, etc. are all interested in pulling the strings.  Sure, Trump is another klepto-plutocrat ( rich thief ) but at least he is not hiding behind Citizens United while he tries to make the whole fucking government into something that will establish an aristocracy of rich motherfuckers.

Well at least he isn't hiding it?

No, but he is doing the same thing theists do " Yes I believe in a god, but I am not like the others"

Trump " Yes, I am fithy rich, just ignore that I am running for the fuck the poor party , I am not like the others"

Begs the question of how much money he really has. I mean real money, not property. He's a loudmouth about that too, but he already filed several times for bankrupcy in the past. I wouldn't be that sure if he's really able to raise the same amount as the others get blown up their asses by their super rich cronies.

I'm not really following politics very closely right now, so I could be wrong, but does he have a view that is radically different than the other Republican candidates?

Well, calling immigrants "rapists" seems like it's at the small end of the bell-curve. He's also said that he'll make Mexico pay for a border wall, which is a unique and unfulfillable promise.

Seriously, his mouth is in fourth, his brains in neutral.
But suppose Trump did get elected and Mexico did end up paying for the wall.  Do you think people's opinion of him would change from negative to positive?

As a son of a Mexican immigrant his comments about immigrants piss me off greatly. He's talking about force whole families of Mexicans back to Mexico. USA has a track record of fucking this up and deporting U.S. citizens (like me) in the process. This scares me greatly.
Secondly, I don't see how making legal immigrant and naturalization absurdly difficult helps stop terrorists and drug lords at all. I have a friend from the Netherlands who is having a difficult time immigrating here. This shit is stupid.

Finally, he plans to waste money on a fucking wall.
Your pal from the Netherlands is stupid since he can enter the US simply by getting on a KLM plane and arrive in NYC.  No visa required.  Simply walk in without any hassle and start living here as if he's always been here.  No big deal at all.

Trump says that Mexico will pay for the wall so it shouldn't be coming out of our pockets.

Lawrence inadvertently revealed the cause of the Revolutionary War, which was to deprive slaves in the colonies of their British citizenship.  England was in the process of eliminating slavery in its colonies and the colonists wanted to keep their slaves so they rebelled.  They then wrote the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution to deny slaves citizenship, as Lawerence pointed out.  The Fourteenth Amendment was passed to make America a bi-racial country and the law was later applied to the Chinese in the late 1890s.  Before then Chinese were not citizens even if they had been born here.

You need to care because he has no qualifications.
Yeah. No shit. Barrack Obama. Prime example.

And because he says so, the Mexicans will bend over and do so. That what you believe?
