As God, My first act would be to unambiguously declare Myself to My creations.
My chief (probably only) commandment would be 'Be good to each other.' The importance of this commandment would compel Me to lead by example, thus the impetus to be good.
My chief attributes would be explicatory in nature. If one of My creations were to ask Me why their two years old daughter was stricken with liver cancer, I would tell them. If a supplicant asked why they didn't win the Lotto despite praying really, REALLY hard to do so, I would explain it.
If human beings continued to insist in invoking Me to make sure their particular sporting club won, I would be completely even handed - I would arrange for every sporting competition to end in a tie.

I was more interested in attributes than creation. The other thread was dealing with creation and it was not my place to derail the OP of the other thread.

To answer your question. If I were a god deserving the title, I wouldn't be interested at all. Only if I felt like playing a Sims game, maybe. But I think that would be way below an all powerful being.

It is kind of a good question. One of the reasons we can empathize with people is that we may experience the same thing they do. If you have someone who never goes through hardships, how can they empathize with people? Why would they care? People who get everything they want in life tend to be spoiled, selfish brats. They tend to be very self centered. The only thing that gives them a reality check is something bad happening to them. So you've got this deity who gets everything he wants. Even when he came to earth, he didn't really live like us. otherwise he wouldn't have said things like thoughts equaling actions, because he'd know we can't help what we think. We can't help our base feelings. Though Jesus did act considerably nicer than Yahweh.
Why care about other people when you aren't confined to the same things they are? I'm not sure.

Like I said I would be evil because I would get bored. I would just eventually not care what happened to my creation.
Personally I would not want to be Omnipotent. It may sound fun but in reality you would get bored fast. Even if I had an enemy like Satan or something similar, I'm still Omnipotent and would win in the end.
I'd rather be a Hindu God like Vishnu or Shiva or a Greek God like Ares, Zeus or Hades.

A point that I have brought up several times. One of the many reasons I know there to be no god. How could it have desires? The whole 'omni' thing. What possible attributes could a god really have?
