Reporter/camera man murdered.
RE: Reporter/camera man murdered.
To be fair to ATT, I don't think that is his argument, but instead he's outlining the reasons why banning guns will be difficult.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Just this morning, a few hours ago, someone stole a cop's gun.  So if a person really wants a gun he can easily steal one from the nearest cop.

And just consider how alien that looks to Europeans. You've got a few freedoms we don't have in our vast majority, but in general, yours is an overregulated society in general. But obtaining a gun is a piece of cake.

Since most people are killed by people they know it's obvious that the killers blame the victims.

Be sure to let us know when those British sheep get a constitution from those assholes in power in England.  The peasants must have been upset about kidney pies.

Kentucky got the ball rolling in 1813 when it passed a law against carrying concealed guns.  That led to the battle to make the Second Amendment an individual right.

And we all know about the western movies where the local sheriff goes all bad-ass on any cowboy who dares wear a gun in his town.  Hollywood must have made 30,000 movies about that one topic and they were always in favor of gun control.

So everyone has been subjected to a lifetime of gun control propaganda.  It's part of American culture.  People are so brainwashed one way or another that it's almost impossible for anyone to change his mind about the topic.  You either love gun control or you hate it.  And since it has been going on for 200 years it's doubtful if anyone will give in soon.

So the question should be something along the lines of is it ever OK to kill someone who did you wrong?  People are going to do it anyway by any means available.

Got statistics on this?

When have your guns stepped in to stop the assholes in power in America?

Not as easy as you make it sound Wyrd...check Mins "Fucking Cops" thread for details.

You're flirting with a myth of american gun ownership...particularly that everyone's packing.  We're not.  There are more guns (that we know of) in the US than there are citizens.  A quirk of gun ownership and demographics, however, is that gun ownership is extremely concentrated.  People appear to either not have a gun in their home - or many, very little middle ground.  Most of the guns in the US are in rural areas (as are the majority of their owners)- but most of the gun crime, gun violence, and gun death is in urban areas.  The majority of guns in the us are not handguns, but the majority of gun violence and gun death -is- attributed to handguns.

I typed most of that up not so much for your benefit, but for the benefit of those who might think that the US is some Mad Max no holds barred gunstravaganza. It isn;t. We have a very -specific- gun problem in the US..but everytime we go to legislate...we seem to avoid legislation that directly addresses that problem. Instead, we work up the nuts, who, despite being nuts.....don't seem to be a significant part of that problem...even though they're armed to the fucking teeth. It's almost like the whole things a show........meanwhile I;m wondering who on earth would have a problem with my shooting at tin cans..lol.

Ultimately, I may have to live, one day, in a us "without guns". Jackasses on both sides of the issue will fuck it up for me...and I'll have to spend more time with my bow. Until people start pissing their pants over -that- as well.

Back to the topic at hand, I received my first conspiracy theory for this incident. It had to be faked, because the woman didn't die immediately.

I've been off FB since then. I can't handle the twattery.
