You guys are brutal.

True story:

long time ago on another board with some VERY rickety forum software I was replying to some idiot and a mod blew them, their account, and the post I was replying to out of the water.

Apparently this was unanticipated by the forum codesmiths, so when I posted my reply I was deposited in some weird null space in the forum. I had to log out (fortunately that still worked) and log back on to self rescue. Eventually that forum was destroyed by a weird replicating Viagra ad that filled all the forums and inboxes and the mods/admins/staff couldn't get rid of it.
 The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

We'll ban socks on site when we detect them. If they have relatively few posts we'll purge them, but if they've managed to get quite a few out there (especially in their own thread) we won't remove their posts because it means you guys would lose yours too Sad
