Those people who think they know absolutely everything are an annoyance to those of us who do.

It will be interesting to see if this friend continues to use the same arguments after their fundamental flaws have been pointed out. Unfortunately, statistically the answer is yes. But that doesn't stop the seeds of reason being sewed. Perhaps in a while he will stop and have a think, whatever the outcome of that thought might be.
Too right, but I'm not hopeful. Theists' responses to fatal flaws in their 'arguments' are the semantic equivalent of sticking their fingers in their ears, squinching their eyes shut and shouting, 'Neener neener! I can't HEEEAAARR you!!'

Yeah. But it does get through, sometimes. Maybe just not a very high success rate, and it needs a special kind of person who is able to actually analyze the way they think.

I assume the original poster is just a theist on a lark. How common has it been for one to show up here announcing their new found atheism but not knowing what to say to the good arguments of theists? Oh gosh, if you actually think those are good arguments you must have your head as far up your ass as those you're 'arguing' with.

No doubt, the sincerity of the OP is questionable at best.
What? Are you talking about me? I'm not a theist goddamnit! I was just looking for counter-arguments against incredibly ignorant christian arguments where I can't even think of an answer to. Please read my bio if you doubt me.

I never said those were good arguments, they are just so ignorant I can't even answer.
"The belief that everything came from a invisible man, was rational enough in the prehistoric era.
This belief in the modern world however, is hallucination and cannot be explained otherwise."

Oceanian I believe you're an atheist. Besides your profile says you're 15 and at your age if I'd have found this site (and if it existed) I probably would have asked around for help too.
Not meaning to go all older brother on you but my youngest sibling and brother is your age in just 8 days time.
